Job Purpose The Newgen Developer is responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Newgen-based banking applications, including workflow automation, document management, and digital onboarding solutions.
The role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant implementations aligned with banking regulations and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities Newgen Application Development Design, develop, customize, and maintain solutions using Newgen platforms (OmniFlow, OmniDocs, OmniEnterprise, BPM).
Build and configure workflows, forms, business rules, and case management solutions.
Customize UI, scripts, and integrations to meet business needs.
Banking Systems Integration Integrate Newgen solutions with core banking systems, payment systems, CRM, and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
Ensure seamless data flow between Newgen and enterprise systems.
Support & Optimization Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Newgen applications.
Analyze and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
Optimize workflows and processes to improve operational efficiency.
Security & Compliance Implement banking security standards, access control, audit trails, and data protection measures.
Ensure solutions comply with regulatory requirements (SAMA, AML, KYC, internal audit standards).
Documentation & Collaboration Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment guides.
Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, vendors, and banking stakeholders.
Support UAT, deployments, and post-go-live activities.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Newgen Developer or related field.
Banking or financial services experience is mandatory.
Experience working in regulated environments.
