  • Lead the Planning & Control Department to establish and implement effective project control strategies and methodologies across various project phases, including engineering, construction, testing, operation, and delivery.
  • Utilize advanced expertise in analyzing and tracking time schedules, measuring performance, managing deviations from baselines, and producing comprehensive follow-up reports to support project success.
  • Oversee the monitoring of financial and engineering reports, and proficiently develop and monitor project key performance indicators (KPIs) from project inception to closure.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify deviations from project plans, implement corrective action plans, and assess their impact on project performance and outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Planning & Control Department, fostering a culture of innovation, efficiency, and quality in project control activities.

  • Oversee the development and monitoring of project budgets, working closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial control and reporting.
  • Drive the identification of potential risks and opportunities related to project schedules, costs, and resources, and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
  • Engage in the continuous review and optimization of project control processes and workflows, leveraging advanced knowledge of industry-leading project management principles and tools.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Planning & Control Department team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture while promoting professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Represent the Planning & Control Department in senior management and client meetings, effectively communicating project control strategies, performance, and resolutions to project challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in project management and control, integrating relevant insights and best practices into the organization's project control framework.
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence, quality assurance, and risk management within the Planning & Control Department, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement innovative technologies and tools to enhance project control capabilities, driving automation and efficiency in project planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  •  Engage with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to build strategic alliances and stay informed about emerging developments and opportunities in project control and management

Essential Requirements:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or equivalent from a Ministry of Education-accredited university.
  • Minimum of 13 years of project control experience, including roles as a control and monitoring manager on large projects.
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and tools applied across engineering, construction, testing, operation, and delivery phases.
  • Expertise in analyzing and tracking time schedules, measuring performance, managing deviations from baselines, and producing follow-up reports.
  • Experience in monitoring financial and engineering reports, and proficiency in developing and monitoring project KPIs from inception to project closure.
  • Proven ability to implement corrective plans and assess their impact.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and success of project control activities.
