We are partnering with a leading Luxury Electric Vehicle Manufacturer in Saudi Arabia to hire a highly skilled Powertrain Launch Technical Project Manager to support the launch and operational readiness of EV powertrain systems in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.
This is a critical launch role for professionals who thrive in fast-paced EV production setups and have strong experience with battery packs, drive units, e-motors, and inverters.
👇 Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 6–8 years of EV powertrain or high-voltage systems
• Strong knowledge of battery pack assembly, e-motors, inverters & drive units
• Proven experience launching HV component assembly lines
• Hands-on with torque tools validation, leak testing & EOL diagnostics
• Strong understanding of EV safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 60664, HV protocols)
• Excellent project management, leadership & cross-functional coordination skills
👇 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead EV powertrain launch activities ensuring full readiness for SOP & early builds
• Oversee startup and integration of battery, e-drive, inverter & HV assembly lines
• Define technical & operational requirements for powertrain manufacturing
• Coordinate commissioning of HV systems, safety interlocks & controls
• Develop detailed launch plans, timelines, resources & risk mitigation strategies
• Manage dry runs, process tryouts, torque validations & safety verifications
• Ensure EOL testing implementation (HV isolation, insulation resistance, functional checks)
• Lead root cause analysis for line stops, defects & HV safety issues
• Coordinate engineering changes to improve manufacturability
• Support hiring, onboarding & training of powertrain production teams
• Ensure strict compliance with HV safety standards and procedures
• Drive Built-in-Quality and Continuous Improvement during launch & ramp-up
