LAWAZEM is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process of goods and services required by the company. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure that purchased items meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify and source reliable suppliers/vendors and establish strong relationships with them.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand their purchasing needs and provide assistance and guidance in the selection of products and services.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions to adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Manage and maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchased items and resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Implement and maintain procurement software and tools to streamline the purchasing process.
