Job description

We are seeking an experienced QAQC Engineer to join our team, providing quality assurance and control across various PMO and PMC projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications, maintaining quality management systems, and conducting audits to monitor compliance with industry regulations and project standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
  • Ensure that all construction and engineering activities comply with quality standards, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards (ISO 9001, etc.), and client requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate project deliverables to ensure adherence to local and international standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to assess the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction activities.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation (e.g., inspection reports, test plans, checklists).
  • Generate regular quality reports for management and clients, highlighting key findings and suggesting improvements.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and maintain records for all quality-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the project management team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Participate in client meetings, addressing QA/QC concerns and presenting solutions to ensure project success.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and quality inspectors on best QA/QC practices.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or engineering consultancy sectors, preferably on PMO and PMC projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and industry best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in quality inspection methods, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office and QA/QC software.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ Certification) is an advantage

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience working on large-scale PMO or PMC projects.
  • Expertise in civil infrastructure, building projects, and/or engineering consultancy environments.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple contractors and vendors, ensuring high standards of quality control.
