Job Description

The QC Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that construction projects meet the required quality standards. This position involves monitoring and evaluating the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the construction process. The QC Engineer will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry regulations. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of the construction process and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for construction projects.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  3. Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings to ensure they meet project specifications.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
  5. Prepare and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports.
  6. Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality control practices and procedures.
  7. Monitor the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  8. Participate in project meetings to discuss quality-related topics and improvements.
  9. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to quality control in construction.
  10. Assist in the development of project quality objectives and performance metrics.
