Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

   In-line quality and process control monitoring to ensure food safety, quality, regulatory, and other applicable standard compliance level.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Strategic:

Food safety and quality assurance, specification compliance, Regulatory and customer requirements compliance. 


Operational:

GMP, pest control, process control assurance. 


People:

On-hand trainings, non-conformity reporting. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Physical, chemical testing in raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Ensure that all products meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Inspect food production lines and storage conditions to ensure product safety.
  • Monitor and record all process parameters like CCPs, oPRPs, QCP and other spec parameters.
  • Conduct product sensory evaluations.
  • Monitor temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors during production and storage.
  • Inspect packaging materials and finished goods for compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain records of all tests and inspections conducted.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date to comply with regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in developing quality assurance documentation and procedures.
  • Ensure that all food products comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant food safety standards and regulations (e.g., SFDA, ISO, HACCP, BRCGS, customer audit standards).
  • Identify trends in quality issues and work with production and R&D teams to address and resolve them.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve product quality and consistency.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions.
