Job Purpose

Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and design effective technology solutions. This role involves configuring and customizing business applications, providing functional expertise, and ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives.




Key Accountability Areas

Business Requirements Analysis:


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements.
  • Understand and document current business processes and challenges.

Solution Design:


  • Design technology solutions that meet business needs and align with overall IT strategy.
  • Create functional specifications and documentation for development teams.

Application Configuration:


  • Configure and customize business applications based on functional requirements.
  • Ensure that applications are set up to optimize business processes.

Stakeholder Communication:


  • Communicate with business stakeholders to explain technical solutions in non-technical terms.
  • Provide updates on project progress and address stakeholder concerns.

User Training and Support:


  • Develop and deliver user training programs for new applications or features.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing questions and issues.

Testing and Quality Assurance:


  • Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that applications meet quality standards.
  • Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.

Change Management:


  • Implement change management processes to minimize disruption during system implementations.
  • Communicate changes effectively and manage user expectations.

Documentation:


  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations and customizations.
  • Create user guides and documentation for IT support teams.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Project Management:


  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful delivery of IT solutions.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources. address operational challenges.

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.


Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Information Mgmt. Sciences & Systems
