The project:
This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.
Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre, experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
To run day-to-day commercial, finance and accounting functions for the project and timely and accurate monthly reporting to the associate director.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing all Mace NTPs (notice to proceed), including updates and changes as required.
- Managing and being responsible for Mace PAFs (personnel approval forms), including updates as required.
- Overseeing the Mace timesheets.
- Collation of high-quality invoice submissions and supporting documentation packs for monthly invoicing.
- Reviewing and supporting documentation for monthly invoicing and coordination of response to observations raised by the client.
- Liaising regualarly with the client finance team to ensure timely payment of Mace invoices.
- Reporting directly to programme director.
- Be the point of contact for coordination of commercial matters, including liaison with clients and local accountants, as well as Mace support services.
- Managing Mace income workbook for the programme.
- Supporting and providing commercial and financial information requested by the finance team.
You’ll need to have:
- A degree in finance and accounting.
- Fully qualified accountant with experience gained in a similar role.
- Substantial experience in the use of computer software products (including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Oracle and Cognos TM1 experience is preferable.
- Ability to use initiative, anticipate issues and develop common sense, practical solutions to deliver high-quality output to tight deadlines.
- Excellent team management skills and ability to manage, delegate, motivate and involve direct reports.
- Confident and flexible collaborator with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels using excellent communication skills.
- To maintain professional knowledge in financial accounting, direct and indirect taxes.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
