Job Title: Senior Hardware and Network Engineer

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hardware and Network Engineer with Min 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting hardware and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of enterprise-level systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of current networking technologies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and maintain computer hardware systems including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network infrastructures.
  • Monitor network performance, ensure high availability, and implement performance tuning as needed.
  • Manage network security measures such as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data encryption.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure hardware lifecycle management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement and support.
  • Install and maintain server operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Conduct periodic network audits and implement best practices for compliance and performance.
  • Manage data backup and recovery solutions.
  • Provide technical support to users and resolve hardware/network issues within defined SLAs.
  • Document all configurations, processes, and procedures accurately.
  • Provide system remote to teams across the globe

Key Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s or Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Proficient in Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and change management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:


  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Professional (CCNP)
  • CompTIA Network+ / Security+
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
