Responsibilities:


  • Inspect and monitor all structural works, including reinforced concrete, steel structures, bridges, culverts, and retaining walls
  • Verify that structural works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards
  • Review contractors’ material submittals, test certificates, and quality documentation
  • Ensure proper execution of formwork, reinforcement placement, concrete pouring, curing, and steel connections
  • Conduct inspections and testing of materials such as concrete, steel, and aggregates in coordination with QA/QC and lab teams
  • Document and report non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions to PMC management
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site
  • Coordinate with design, planning, and site teams to resolve structural issues
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports for submission to PMC and client
  • Participate in client inspections, audits, and project progress meetings
  • Maintain organized records of all inspections, approvals, and site observations
  • Verify contractor compliance with testing procedures and structural standards
  • Support preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation
  • Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors or site staff regarding structural works
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of structural materials on-site
  • Assist in quality assurance and control processes, including site testing and verification

Essential Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Structural Inspector, preferably on road and infrastructure projects
  • Experience in PMC, consultancy, or large-scale construction projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of structural design, construction practices, and QA/QC procedures
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASTM, Saudi standards, etc.)
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on-site and in a multi-disciplinary team
