We are looking for a Lead Engineer – Technical Architectural to lead and coordinate the technical architectural scope across construction projects. The role focuses on managing architectural designs, technical submissions, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting site execution while ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and design intent.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural technical coordination from concept design through shop drawings and construction stages.
Review and approve architectural drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, RFIs, and method statements.
Act as the main technical reference for architectural issues and coordination with Structural, MEP, and Infrastructure teams.
Ensure architectural documentation (drawings, BOQs, schedules, finish matrices) is accurate and coordinated.
Coordinate with procurement and construction teams regarding material approvals and execution constraints.
Represent the architectural discipline in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Support value engineering and design optimization while maintaining architectural quality and intent.
Conduct site reviews to verify design compliance with actual site conditions.
Supervise and mentor architectural engineers and technical staff.
Manage technical reporting, submittal tracking, and documentation control.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
8–14 years of relevant experience in architectural technical roles within construction projects.
Strong knowledge of architectural codes, standards, and construction practices.
Proven experience in design coordination, technical reviews, and construction support.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit / BIM and clash detection is a strong advantage.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve technical design issues efficiently.
