Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Provide expert diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, including aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, venous thromboembolism, and varicose veins.
- Perform a wide range of vascular procedures, such as endovascular interventions, open surgical procedures, and minimally invasive techniques.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans and manage complex vascular cases.
- Offer compassionate and empathetic patient care, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in clinical audits and research projects to advance the field of vascular surgery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vascular surgery technology and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- Board certification in Vascular Surgery
- Significant clinical experience in vascular surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are advantageous)
- Desirable:
- Fellowship training in a relevant subspecialty (e.g., endovascular surgery, peripheral vascular surgery)
- Experience in a multicultural healthcare setting
- A passion for teaching and research
