Job description

Coordinate manpower requirements with operations teams based on project schedules, workloads, and shift plans

• Plan, allocate, and deploy workforce across sites, departments, and shifts to meet operational needs

• Identify manpower gaps and proactively recommend solutions to operations and HR teams

• Maintain accurate manpower rosters, shift schedules, and deployment records

• Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime, and leave for operational employees

• Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate time, attendance, and overtime data

• Ensure timely onboarding, induction, mobilization, and demobilization of operational staff

• Manage and coordinate accommodation of staff along with Safety team

• Coordinate joining schedules with operations to avoid manpower shortages

• Maintain and update employee records, contracts, certifications, and compliance documents

• Act as the point of contact for operational employees on HR-related matters such as attendance, leave, and policy clarification

• Support employee relations by addressing workforce issues and escalating concerns when required

• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, company policies, and operation-specific regulations

• Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to manpower and HR operations

• Ensure documentation readiness for internal and external audits

• Prepare and submit regular manpower, utilization, attendance, and HR operations reports

• Liaise with HR, operations managers, line managers, and payroll for effective workforce management

Late 1950’s:Fruits were imported from Italy and other European countries. Early 1960’s:Cold stores were built in Riyadh, for the Central Region, and Dammam, for the Eastern Region. Somalia joined Eritrea as Sharbatly’s main source of Banana’s, while Oranges arrived from Egypt and Lebanon during the winter season and from Swaziland during the summer season. Apple arrived mostly from Lebanon. Sharbatly became and for several years remained the sole importer of “Chiquita” in Saudi Arabia. A new banana plantation was established in the Awash Valley in Ethiopia in partnership with the Ethiopian Development Bank and a group of banana ;growers from Somalia. Started importing bananas from Philippines. Late 1970’s:The concentration of demand, as the population of the kingdom reached over 10million, transformed Saudi Arabia into a modern, efficient, sophisticated market where Sharbatly was importing fruits from all over the world. 2004:The corporation was transformed into Mohammed Abdallah Sharbatly Co. Today:The company has over ten branches across the kingdom, as well as branches in both Bahrain and Dubai.
