Position: The Account Executive works within an agency client team.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all invoicing and budget reporting processes are completed accurately and on time, as well as to manage the internal booking system.


The Account Executive provides operational support to Account Managers, and success in this role is measured by the delivery of media KPIs, meeting all required deadlines, the accuracy of deliverables, client satisfaction survey results, and efficient communication with internal and external teams.

Reporting of the role


This role reports to the Account Manager and works directly with the Implementation teams of WPP Media.


 


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Coordinate internal departments by briefing the Implementation team on campaign plans, required inputs, and report generation
  • Collaborate closely with the Implementation team on media planning and buying across TV, Outdoor, Radio, and Print channels
  • Reporting: produce monthly, weekly, ad hoc, and audit reports
  • Work in client systems for invoicing and uploading proof of campaign delivery
  • Support the team with day-to-day plan changes and media plan maintenance
  • Oversee Marathon (and other systems) orders and ensure executional excellence within invoicing flows
  • Deliver campaign performance reports within agreed deadlines
  • Monitor competition and build strong knowledge of competitive brands and activities
  • Develop and apply working knowledge of basic media concepts, terminology, media math, and media plan execution (e.g., GRP, Reach, Frequency, Impressions, CPM, CPC, CTR%, CPA, VTR%)
  • Work with other agency teams and external partners
  • Client relationship management: maintain strong relationships with client staff, exchange information, and deliver materials in a timely and organized manner
  • Other responsibilities, including monthly fee invoicing, aggregation of competitive reports, and budget control

 


What you will need:


  • Solution-oriented and motivated by challenges
  • Familiar with the media landscape; ideally with offline planning and buying experience
  • Ability to work in English across multiple parties in the SEE region (regional teams, clients, central teams, support functions, etc.)
  • Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables) and familiar with PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage both upwards and downwards
  • Empathetic and self-aware mindset
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving; calm under pressure
  • Clear and accurate verbal and written communication
  • Data and content literate – able to simplify complex information into clear, actionable insights
