Wood is currently seeking an Intern to join the Instrumentation & Control Department at our Madrid office.


Wood is looking for students interested in accessing the professional world through external academic internships and offers the possibility to put into practice and expand the knowledge acquired during their academic career.


Students will get the opportunity to work in the H2, Bio-fuels and O&G projects as we look to develop your background in conceptual engineering studies, Basic engineering pre-FEED, FEED, EPC and PMC projects.


The role is offered to fit in with study timetables and course obligations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop specification and prepare material requisitions for materials and instrumentation
  • Create and keep data base for instruments, I/O signals, cables
  • Assist in the preparation of Auxiliary Flow Diagrams as necessary
  • Maintain the required technical quality of work
  • Ensure that designs comply with the relevant procedures, standards and regulations
  • Keep up to date with technical developments, National and International standards and legislative requirements related to the discipline
  • Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project

Qualifications:
  • Last academic year or master's degree in Chemical Engineering/Electronic Engineering or similar Degree 
  • Academic situation that allows signing an agreement with a university or training center
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Spanish language at native level
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Availability in the morning (daily dedication may vary depending on the academic situation)
