Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Tunis, Tunisia
Reporting to: Senior Procurement & Inventory Manager

Overview of Role:


The Procurement Coordinator is a support and coordination role designed to enable Buyers to operate more effectively by providing accurate data, structured reporting, and cross-functional connectivity. The role acts as a key link between Procurement, Demand Planning, Logistics, Sales, and Order Management, ensuring information flows smoothly, risks are visible early, and decisions are supported with clear analysis.
This position does not own buying decisions, but supports Buyers through planning, reporting, meeting preparation, and follow-up, helping improve inventory outcomes, service levels, and process discipline. 



Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Preparation for Supply &Operations Planning (S&OP) monthly reviews gathering insights from Buyers and preparing reports 
  • Support Buyers for the based-on content for Weekly Supply Planning Meeting
  • Review, validate and distribute weekly out of stock report
  • Review gaps, risks, and overstock exposures with Buyers within the buying cycle.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly inventory performance report by SKU classification, Business Unit and Site
  • Respond and follow up to daily inventory queries from all business units
  • Represent procurement at Global Order Management meetings 
  • Align with NPI team and co-ordinate approvals and Buying process for each launch
  • Collect data and distribute the monthly Supplier Relationship Management reports
  • Prepare analysis and insights to strategic sourcing 
  • Share forecasts with Suppliers on Monthly basis
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement 
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to inventory workflows.
  • Contribute to system upgrades, automation initiatives, and master data accuracy.
  • Support implementation of best practices to enhance service levels while reducing carrying costs.

Requirements & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in purchasing, planning, or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced Excel required (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (excellent use of Powe point)
  • ERP/WMS experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar); ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical thinker with commercial awareness
  • Proactive risk identification and problem resolution
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and influence decisions
  • Continuous improvement mindset
