Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Costing & Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. This role involves calculating product costs for serial and new products and supporting annual budgets and monthly forecasts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Product Cost Calculation: Analyze and calculate costs for accurate pricing and profitability.
  • Budget Support: Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly forecasts, including variance analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present product cost reports to management.
  • Collaboration: Work with production, finance, and central team to align on costing and reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing cost management practices.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making.
  • Closing Participation: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Feasibility Analysis: Provide analyses for investment projects.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze  key performance indicators.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Industrial/Management Engineering, Statistics, Mathematical Engineering, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications (including Access and Excel Macros).
  • Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools such as MS Power BI, Tableau, or Python.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI/CO is an asset.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a results-oriented approach.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost calculations and reporting.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex financial problems related to product costing.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work well in a team environment.
