To execute and implement Maintenance works as planned including fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment onboard dredging fleet units.
To support in executing efficient repair and maintenance services to maintain NMDC Group equipment in a state of optimal availability for production and minimal downtime.
Ensure efficient electrical engineering contribution on-board for maintenance and repair services to maintain optimal availability of electrical equipment for Dredger reliable operation and optimum production with minimal downtime.
Advice on ordering and implementing necessary Spare parts related to Electrical installation, Routine maintenance.
Execute the electrical routine maintenance of electrical equipment in accordance to plan and electrical specifications of equipment on-board.
Report on work done, equipment performance, Elec. Installation operational issues, and preventive maintenance requirements to the Chief Engineer daily.
Report to technical Electrical Superintendent for specific electrical-related activities.
Actively monitor and report on the observance of HSE requirements onboard.
Continuously improve knowledge and expertise in electrical engineering related and not limited to equipment on-board.
Identify hazards related to the electrical installation on-board and implement appropriate control measures.
Report on the day-to-day performance of electrical systems on board. Escalating issues to line manager with exploring options and advice to minimize downtime.
Adhere to the defined policies and procedures of the Fleet Management Department and NMDC Group policy.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent ETO Certificate.
Minimum 5~8 years of related work experience in marine or heavy industrial fields.
