As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in our production process by assisting in the operation and maintenance of our machines. You will work closely with our experienced team of operators to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our equipment. This is a full-time position, with a standard work week of 40 hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of production machines according to established procedures and guidelines
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth functioning and identify any potential issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating, to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise during production
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in machine operation Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Familiarity with machine operation and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication and teamwork skills
