Job Summary
The Assistant Storekeeper supports receiving, checking, labeling, and moving materials across stores, paint shops, and assembly, while maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires working in shifts and ensuring a safe, well‑organized area by following 5S+S and safety standards.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
Keep the receiving area clean, safe, and well-organized always.
Strictly adhere to and uphold 5S+S principles within the stores and receiving area.
Receive incoming materials from the truck using a forklift.
Unbox consignments and perform visual checks for quantity, quality, damage, or mismatches.
Label received materials accurately for traceability.
Hand over receiving documents to the Storekeeper for system entries.
Scan and file all receiving documents daily.
Move materials to designated store locations, paint shop, and assembly areas as instructed by Senior Storekeepers.
Assist in retrieving materials from primary and secondary bins.
Support movement of kits between stores, paint shops, and assembly areas
Maintain accurate records of material receipts as required for KPI tracking.
Who you are:
Ability to operate a forklift (license required).
Attention to detail for labeling and quality checks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
For this Role, You Will Need:
Basic knowledge of material handling processes.
