Pattern is expanding and we are looking for a Head of Distribution to join the team. This role is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies by identifying and managing key online and offline retail partnerships that align with brand objectives. 
The position involves negotiating distribution agreements, coordinating internal stakeholders, and building strong relationships with wholesale partners to maximize sales opportunities. The role supports ongoing brand management through store visits, training initiatives, and the coordination of marketing materials and brand trials. This is a full time position based in our Dubai office. 

What is a day in the life of the Head of Distribution?


  • The core responsibilities of the Head of Distribution reflect the following:
  • Go to market strategy – identifying key online and offline retail distribution partnerships which will suit the positioning and marketing aims of the brands we own and partner with.
  • Develop distribution agreements and negotiate commercial terms with key Partners Coordinate and manage internal stakeholders related to agreement creation, order placements, finance liaison, and marketing coordination
  • Develop strong ongoing relationships with relevant Wholesale contacts, ensuring all service levels are met consistently, whilst always looking to maximise any sales opportunities.
  • Analysis of weekly/monthly business reports, detailing % target achieved, flagging concerns, and taking proactive measures.
  • Ensure that stock levels are regularly reviewed and maintained to maximise sales and liaise directly with the marketing team to ensure the store is adhering to the required standards.
  • Budgeting of projected distribution revenue, monitoring sales performance, stock levels and working with finance and merchandising to optimise.
  • Ensuring retailer stock files/order forms are created and sent to retail partners 2 months prior to launch along with sell in information, images and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with retailers on forecasts and PO’s while ensuring delivery is made within committed lead time.
  • Prepare brand orders, forecasts and manage brand relationships on an ongoing basis visiting physical stores when appropriate.
  • Conducting or coordinating brand training where appropriate including organising testing units for trial.

What will I need to thrive in this role?


  • (Essential) Experience in selling health supplements into pharmacy chains within the UAE or GCC countries
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate distribution agreements and commercial terms with partners.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in an account management / distribution role
  • Strong academic background (2:1 or above)
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, retail partnerships, and both online and offline distribution channels.
  • Outstanding analytical and data management skillsHumble, resilient, highly motivated, and focused on outcomes.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-type environment by pivoting priorities.
  • Arabic language preferred (but not required)
