Job Purpose

As a Baggage services Agent you will perform baggage related activities at DWC in line with dnata's safety and operational standards, ensuring optimum service quality to our customers.



In this role, you will:



  • Ensures staff safety by leading with safety, acting as a role model, conducting regular safety briefings, and intervening immediately when risks are identified, with follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Organizes and oversees all work within the area of accountability to ensure efficient operations and compliance with procedures, service standards, and SLAs.
  • Briefs the team at the start of shifts, clearly communicating responsibilities, providing direction, ensuring fair workload distribution, and giving performance feedback.
  • Ensures outsource teams are fully aware of their duties and expectations in line with agreed service level agreements.
  • Oversees baggage handling operations, including sortation, arrival, transfer, and departure activities, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assists with manual handling and operational activities when required to support smooth shift operations.
  • Ensures implementation of work instructions, compliance with standard operating procedures, and serviceability of equipment and support systems, taking action in case of breakdowns.
  • Maintains accurate shift records and documentation and escalates operational or safety issues to the Supervisor when necessary.
Qualification

To be consider for this role, you will have to meet the below requirements:



  • High School with a Certificate
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business administration / aviation / ground handling / customer Service.
  • Good written and spoken communication
  • Safety Awareness.
