BIM Manager

As the BIM Manager/Senior Digital Delivery Manager, you’ll be the cornerstone in ensuring the flawless execution of digital projects and providing unparalleled technical support. You’ll act as the conduit between the Concept and Schematic Design teams, nurturing an environment where digital tools are harnessed to their full potential, propelling our client to the forefront of Digital Delivery.

Your role is critical in both the technical design support and the proactive management of digital tools, ensuring that from the outset, projects are poised for success. You’ll collaborate closely with the Design Directors, lending your expertise to the Senior Landscape Architects, ensuring a smooth handoff to the Senior Technical Manager as projects progress.

Your responsibilities are diverse:

1. You’ll oversee the management and optimisation of digital tools, ensuring their integration throughout the project lifecycle for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
   
2. You’ll develop project plans, set milestones, and manage resources, all to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
   
3. As a leader, you’ll guide the design and digital teams, encouraging open communication and teamwork, keeping everyone focused on the project objectives and fostering a dynamic work environment.
   
4. You’ll serve as a client-facing representative for our client, conveying the vision and progress at various project stages.
   
5. From the beginning, you’ll identify design and potential construction risks, formulating strategies to mitigate them, with a particular focus on the early project phases.
   
6. Utilising your skills as a qualified Architectural Technologist, you’ll review design packages, ensuring they meet the high standards set by our client’s QA/QC procedures, especially during the initial design phases.
   
7. You’ll enforce quality assurance protocols, performing regular checks and taking corrective actions to ensure project delivery aligns with our client’s expectations.
   
8. You’ll assess sub-consultants’ abilities with digital design tools, identify gaps, and forge partnerships to coordinate and meet future design needs.
   
9. You’re tasked with advancing project delivery processes, instituting best practices to enhance project outcomes.
   

This role is about more than just overseeing; it’s about leading with insight, ensuring excellence, and driving innovation in digital delivery.

• You should be a qualified Architectural Technologist 
  
• Bachelors in Architectural Design and Technology from a UK based university.
• Ideally you should have worked for a landscape architecture consultancy.
  
• You should be proficient using AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Navisworks and MS Office.
  
• Ideally you should have Middle East experience but it's not essential.

• 28k-35k AED dependant on experience
  
• A chance to work for a growing consultancy in Dubai, working on large-scale projects.
