Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business by translating business needs into technical requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimizing operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and a keen understanding of business processes. You will be expected to conduct market research, perform data analysis, and present findings to senior management. Additionally, you will play a key role in facilitating workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of project objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
2. Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance.
4. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
5. Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirement documents, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
6. Support the testing phase by creating test cases and ensuring that solutions meet business needs.
7. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on status and potential risks.
8. Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring alignment of project goals with organizational strategy.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve business analysis methodologies.
10. Assist in training and onboarding new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a corporate environment.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
4. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
7. Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
8. Experience with project management software and methodologies.
9. Strong understanding of business processes and systems.
10. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
