Job Description


The primary purpose of this role is to plan, direct, and control the commercial, contractual, and operational activities for an assigned client base. The successful candidate will be tasked with the effective management of staff and operations, and be expected to meet targets, deadlines and customer KPIs, and support business growth through upselling, while ensuring compliance with all established standards. This job plays a key role in achieving the overall objectives of our Distribution Centre by delivering efficient operational management and exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities


  1.       Establish, develop and maintain contact with principals and potential clients / companies


  2.       Develop and expand logistics business


  3.       Establish and coordinate internal business opportunities among departments


  4.       Promote cooperation and communication between departments to avoid business loss


  5.       Assist and promote GAC ‘s logistics, marine and freight services


  6.       Provide advice, suggestions and recommendations for Business Managers and Sales Team


  7.       Increase and develop shipping business


  8.       Investigate and monitor competitive markets


  9.       Provide contacts and facilitate meetings between sales team and prospective clients


  10.   Manage other tasks within the scope of this job functions as / when required
