We are seeking a Civil Designer with hands-on experience in substation design projects within the oil and gas sector. The candidate will focus on creating and supporting civil engineering designs to ensure accurate, constructible, and high-quality deliverables.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop detailed civil design drawings for substation projects.
Assist in preparing design calculations and supporting documents.
Ensure adherence to project standards, engineering codes, and client requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to integrate civil designs with other disciplines.
Support senior engineers in reviewing design documents and implementing design revisions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in civil design, preferably in substation projects within the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in civil design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent).
Good understanding of civil design standards, materials, and construction methods.
Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
