I’m Job Description – Kitchen Commis

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Commis to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have strong basic kitchen skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for food preparation and hygiene.

• Immediate joining is mandatory

• Salary: AED 2,000 – 2,500 (based on experience)

• Only candidates currently inside the UAE will be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and production across different stations

• Perform proper mise en place for all assigned sections

• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times

• Prepare and handle fried items, ensuring consistency and quality

• Assist in making salads, sandwiches, and basic sauces

• Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen SOPs

• Support chefs with any additional tasks as required

• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly cleaned and stored

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations

• Strong skills in:

• Mise en place

• Kitchen cleanliness & sanitation

• Frying techniques

• Salad preparation

• Sandwich assembly

• Basic sauces preparation

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
