Compliance Coordinator

Our client, a multinational home appliances manufacturer is looking for a Compliance Coordinator. You will be responsible in coordinating and managing the end-to-end regulatory approval process for products across the Middle East region, working closely with factories, Sales, Supply Chain, and distributors to ensure timely approvals, uninterrupted product availability, and full regulatory compliance.

• Factories & Approbation contacts
  • Manage and monitor regulatory approvals and certifications for all product categories across Middle East markets.
  • Ensure all approvals are obtained, renewed before expiry, and stored systematically in an accessible compliance repository.
  • Add or remove approval releases in SAP based on regulatory validity to ensure compliant product flow.
  • Act as the primary compliance interface with factories and central approbation teams.
  • Coordinate sample requests, testing schedules, documentation submission, and report transfers with factories.
  • Follow up on test reports, certification timelines, and corrective actions to avoid approval delays.
  • Communicate regulatory requirements and changes to factories to ensure product design and documentation alignment.
• Sales & Product Team
  • Validate regulatory readiness of products before market launch or promotion.
  • Support sales planning by providing approval timelines and compliance constraints.
  • Identify sales risks related to missing or expiring approvals and propose mitigation actions.
  • Analyze compliance cost vs. sales volume (per VIB) and identify non-performing or high-risk VIBs. Provide information to Product Team.
• Supply Chain
  • Ensure only approved and compliant products are released for shipment to regional markets.
  • Prevent shipment delays, customs holds, or market blocks due to missing approvals.
  • Align approval validity with production, shipment, and inventory planning.
  • Provide timely updates on approval status impacting supply availability.
• Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare regular compliance status reports for management, Sales, and Supply Chain.
  • Track and analyze regulatory spend vs. business performance to support decision- making.
  • Escalate risks related to approvals, renewals, or market compliance in a timely manner.
• Distributors
  • Monitor distributor stock levels to ensure products in the market remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
  • Identify and initiate necessary actions for:
    • Expiring approvals
    • Market surveillance issues
    • Non-compliant or at-risk inventory
    • Support distributors by providing regulatory documentation, approval clarifications, and guidance on local compliance requirements.

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
  Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills, MS Office proficiency, SAP knowledge, and strong communication skills.
