In your role as Consultant Nephrologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of renal disorders. You will work closely with patients to develop comprehensive treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with kidney-related health issues
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Diagnose conditions such as chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, and hypertension
- Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies for patients, including medication management, dialysis, and transplantation options
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding kidney health and treatment options
