In this vital role, you will provide expert care to patients suffering from urological and gynecological disorders.
As a Consultant/Specialist Urogynecologist, you will assess patients, diagnose conditions, conduct surgical and non-surgical treatments, and offer ongoing management of urogynecological issues. Your role is essential in enhancing patient outcomes and delivering exemplary healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations and patient assessments to identify urogynecological conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and urodynamic studies to support clinical decisions.
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, and related issues.
- Perform surgical interventions, including minimally invasive and reconstructive surgeries, when necessary.
- Provide patient education on conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care and support.
- Maintain current knowledge of advancements in urogynecology, incorporating best practices into patient care.
- Document patient interactions and care plans accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
