Role Overview We are seeking a Junior Paralegal specializing in corporate and commercial law to join our dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, award-winning organization, contributing to its continued success and growth. The ideal candidate will support the legal team in managing corporate transactions, compliance, and day-to-day legal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, review, and organization of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
Conduct legal research and provide summaries to support decision-making processes.
Maintain corporate records, including entity formation, licenses, renewals, and shareholder documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
Support due diligence and transaction-related tasks for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities.
Liaise with external legal advisors and government entities as needed.
Manage administrative duties such as filing, maintaining confidentiality, and scheduling meetings for the legal department.
Assist in drafting and proofreading legal correspondence and memoranda.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in law or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably within the UAE or a similar jurisdiction.
Strong understanding of corporate structures, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
