What We’re Looking For


  • A minimum of 3 years of Data Science Experience in a Luxury Hotel environment in the UAE.
  • Proven track record in Data Science, encompassing data analysis and machine learning, with a Meticulous approach to accuracy and detail.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python and SQL, enabling Seamless data integration and manipulation.
  • Skilled in leveraging data visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI to create Compelling and Insightful reports.
  • Expertise in API development and a Robust understanding of AWS RDS and Glue, reflecting Industry-Leading standards.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark is considered a Premium Asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of data Anonymisation Techniques and Privacy-Preserving computation methods, ensuring compliance with Global standards.
  • In-depth understanding of International Data Protection Laws, including GDPR, PDPL, and other local regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Implementing privacy-by-design principles in CuttingEdge data projects.
  • Comprehensive familiarity with Data subject rights and Adeptness in managing data Breach notifications.
  • Superior Problem-Solving Skills and the competence to Exceed Expectations in dynamic and competitive operational environments.
  • A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulous Eye for Detail, ensuring every aspect of the Operation is curated to perfection.
  • A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a ‘Can-Do!’ Spirit.

Key Responsibilities


  • Analyses extensive datasets, databases, and systems to uncover Bespoke Insights that drive Bold, Data-Led Decision-Making.
  • Crafts and optimises Visionary Algorithms, queries, and workflows to elevate data processing Efficiency and Precision.
  • Monitors and enhances APIs and other data extraction methods, ensuring Seamless Integration and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Upholds stringent compliance with global data protection laws, including GDPR and PDPL, across all activities within the Digital Department.
  • Conducts meticulous audits of data storage and processing systems to identify and mitigate potential risks, maintaining a Flawless Operational Standard.
  • Collaborates with the Digital Department to align data protection strategies with FIVE’s Boundary-Breaking Operational Goals.
  • Provides expert guidance on Secure Data Processing Practices, ensuring adherence to relevant privacy regulations.
  • Documents all data-related workflows and protocols to guarantee Transparency, streamline audits, and support Continual Innovation in operations.
  • Stays ahead of Industry Trends and emerging technologies, driving Disruptive Advancements in data science to keep FIVE at the Cutting Edge of Innovation.
  • Delivers regular insights and reports to Senior Leadership, transforming raw data into Actionable strategies that elevate the ‘Vibe at FIVE.’
