Job Purpose:
The Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the steel plant. The role involves performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contributing to uninterrupted production.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 58 years of experience in electrical maintenance in heavy industry, preferably in steel manufacturing or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of medium and low voltage systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment.
Familiarity with electrical safety regulations, preventive maintenance programs, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
