We are looking for a proactive Duty Engineer to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repairs of technical equipment and systems in our organization. The Duty Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
1. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
4. Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
5. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all maintenance and repair activities.
7. Assist in training and supervising junior maintenance staff members.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Duty Engineer or similar role.
3. Strong technical knowledge of machinery, equipment, and systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
