Job description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support daily operations and maintenance activities of solar PV plants to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor plant performance through SCADA and other monitoring systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to inverters, modules, transformers, and other balance-of-plant electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate on-site inspections, identify faults, and escalate issues as required.
  • Maintain records of incidents, energy generation, downtime, and corrective actions.
  • Support in preparing operational reports and performance analysis for management.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for issue resolution and spare part management.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and company protocols during field operations.
  • Assist in implementation of digital tools, SOPs, and best practices to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly roster for all O&M support team and field technicians for planned O&M activities.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering – EEE preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in solar O&M, renewable energy operations, or technical support.
  • Knowledge of solar PV technology, inverters, transformers, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, data logging, and performance monitoring tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to support teams to execute the required tasks on time.
  • Flexible for emergency call-outs if required.
