Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across the facility. The role ensures that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The candidate will provide technical expertise, support engineering operations, and contribute to maintaining the reliability and safety of all electrical infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities:
    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, lighting systems, and fixtures in accordance with approved drawings and standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, circuits, and systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
    • Test electrical systems and components using appropriate instruments to verify functionality and compliance with safety standards.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, and documentation of all completed work.
    • Assist in upgrading electrical systems and implementing modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
    • Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and other electrical safety protocols.
    • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technical staff to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
    • Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of electrical materials and components.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.

Requirements:
  • Education: Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation within industrial, construction, or facilities environments.Knowledge & Skills:
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and industrial control panels.
    • Proficiency in using electrical testing tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
    • Good analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Solid understanding of safety standards, electrical codes, and best practices in electrical maintenance.
