Job description

1.      Respond to all medical emergency cases as directed by the dispatch team.                    


2.      Provide immediate medical care in the prehospital environment, responding to emergency calls, accidents, and critical medical situations in accordance with the Granted Privilege and DCAS Clinical Practice Guideline.                 


3.      Conduct rapid triage and assessment of patients' conditions at the scene, prioritizing treatment based on the severity of injuries or illnesses.                          


4.      Administer immediate and life-saving medications and interventions, such as airway management, hemorrhage control, CPR, and splinting of fractures, to stabilize patients.                        


5.      Utilize clinical judgment and available resources to assess and diagnose medical conditions, injuries, or trauma in the prehospital setting.                          


6.      Work closely with DCAS medical staff to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.                          


7.      Determine appropriate transport decisions, whether it's immediate transport to the nearest hospital or to a specialized facility based on the patient's condition.                     


8.      Maintain accurate and concise records of patient assessment, interventions, and treatments provided in the prehospital setting.                


MBBS or MBChB from an accredited institution.


Valid License as Physician-Specialist -Emergency Medicine in UAE.


Valid license of BLS, ITLS or ATLS, ACLS, PALS.


Valid UAE Driver’s license.
