JOB TITLE: Engineer I - Contracts


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Supports all activities related to contractual and commercial issues, specifically concerning client contracts, partnering agreements with potential partners, and exclusivity/tie-up arrangements with vendors/subcontractors. This includes contractual terms and conditions with key potential vendors/subcontractors, and the risk review process, including the identification, mitigation, and management of contractual risks during the pre-qualification and bidding stages, up until Contract award.


Primary Duties


  • Responsible for providing inputs to the Proposal Summary, Contract Life Cycle Chart, and Techno-Commercial Review Presentation.
  • Supports the preparation and finalization of the Proposal Risk Assessment Form.
  • Reviews terms and conditions of client contracts and various partnership agreements to ensure that the company’s interests are protected from a contractual, commercial, and legal perspective.
  • Assists in finalizing qualifications/deviations to the terms and conditions of client contracts.
  • Supports obtaining appropriate legal guidance when entering new jurisdictions.
  • Responsible for resolving major deviations from vendors regarding the terms and conditions for the Purchase of Goods and Site Services, with support from other team members.
  • Ensures implementation and adherence to HSE and Quality System Procedures during the pre-qualification and bidding stages.
  • Supports internal and external audits.
  • Assists in developing and monitoring relevant Commercial KPIs.

  • Ensures the timely submission of contractual inputs for technical and commercial proposals.
  • Assists in finalizing and concluding partnership agreements and contracts with clients.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:


  • A university degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Experience in tendering, finalizing, administering, and managing contracts, as well as in finalizing various partnership agreements.
