Engineering Interface Manager
We have an opportunity for an Engineering Interface Manager to join us at Honeywell inMasdar.
Key responsibilities
·Provide guidance and clarifications of UOP engineering packages (Schedule A, FEED, Detailed Design) to ensure full understanding by OSBL Engineer for their design/development.
·Provide guidance and clarifications of UOP engineering packages (Schedule A, FEED, Detailed Design) to ensure full understanding by EPC/OSBL Contractor for estimating construction costs and developing installation work packages.
·Working with the Engineering Director, Project Managers and Project Engineers, provide input to UOP Engineering team (including third party detailed designers) on OSBL engineering / interfaces with UOP ISBL design
·Attend meetings with EPC/OSBL Engineer on regular basis / as scheduled - provide notes to Engineering Director / Program Director if unable to attend
·Attend key internal team meetings regularly
·Maintain effective communication between UOP, EPC, and OSBL by maintaining RAIL to drive timely completion.
Key skills and qualifications
·Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
·20 years’ project & engineering management experience in gas processing, refining and petrochemical industries
·Strong experience in modular engineering and construction of oil & gas plant facilities
·EPC experience and/or experience in an EPC environment
·Strong man-management and team-building skills; experience recruiting and managing teams
·Strong oral and written communications skills in English
·Ability to manage budget, scope, manage change and conflict, and coordinate project deliverables under tight deadlines with required quality
·Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
·Excellent interpersonal skills and customer management skills
·Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
·Demonstration of a high level of personal integrity on a daily basis
