The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating all engineering activities of a project to ensure designs, technical deliverables, and engineering-related decisions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
The role serves as a bridge between the project management , engineering teams , design consultants , and construction teams , ensuring smooth integration of all engineering work.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture or any relevant discipline from reputable University with Sound Academic Merits.
Number of years of experience: Over 15 Years Specialized trainings required (if any): Construction Management, Project Estimating & Budgeting, Contracts Management, LEED & PMP / MMUP Area of experience required: Project Management / Contracts Management /Business Development/Engineering Designs Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and operations of a multidiscipline project engineering team.
Coordinate the engineering content of project execution plans for assigned contracts/project.
Direction and management of the engineering and associated project activities of the business grouping/Project.
Manage and direct resources efficiently and effectively.
Consult and negotiate with clients to prepare specifications, explain proposals and present engineering reports and findings.
Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the department or project teams.
Focuses on managerial concerns of the project such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation.
Provides expert resolution of issues and monitors integration of work.
Reviews technical concepts of major projects.
Assist in identifying and requesting functional support to projects / contracts as required.
Accountable for the efficient planning and management of engineering resources, identifying and pursuing opportunities for margin improvement, Perform additional duties when directed by the Project Management & Engineering Manager.
Promote QHSE & ISMS policies within the company and ensure that the quality, environmental, health, safety & Information Security management system procedures are followed at all times, striving for continuous improvement until the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System is achieved.
