• Project Leadership & Execution:
• Lead and manage floor coating projects from start to finish.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical data sheets.
• Conduct site evaluations and prepare substrates (concrete assessment, moisture testing).
• Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, manpower, and material requirements.
• Team Management & Training:
• Direct, supervise, and motivate a crew of applicators and helpers.
• Delegate tasks and ensure work is performed to company and industry standards.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use.
• Conduct daily safety meetings (toolbox talks)
• Quality Control & Client Relations:
• Perform rigorous quality control checks at every project stage.
• Ensure flawless finish and complete customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, addressing questions and concerns professionally.
• Complete final walk-throughs with clients and obtain signoffs.
• Operational Duties:
• Manage inventory, order materials, and coordinate equipment and material logistics.
• Operate and maintain all application equipment (sprayers, grinders, scarifiers, vacuums).
• Enforce strict adherence to safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations.
• Complete daily project reports, timecards, and documentation accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a floor coating applicator, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Technical Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of concrete preparation, moisture mitigation, and resinous coating systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
