Job Description

Job Purpose: 


Delivering agreed sales and revenue targets across Electronic and Liquidity products focusing on institutional clients (corporates, financial institutions and NBFIs).


Executive Director, Electronic & Liquidity Managements main accountabilities and responsibilities include:


  • Entrepreneurial thinking, driving new projects for the e-franchise, highlighting growth areas, introducing our new products & elevating FAB market share
  • To position FAB as the go-to bank for all electronic pricing.
  • To develop and grow FAB’s global footprint in the e-trading/MM space.
  • To have a strong knowledge of the institutional client base.
  • Provide coverage and service to the e-platform clients and liquidity clients
  • Responsible for onboarding of new clients/accounts and develop existing client relationships.
  • Proficient in the full trade cycle beginning to end – pitching electronic product offering, pricing, execution and settlement of trades
  • Established track record with relationship management and client support
  • Problem solving skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Familiarity of buy-side and sell-side workflows
  • Knowledge of electronic trading (FX/MM), execution management systems & trading connectivity
  • To drive a results-oriented, transparent global performance culture

Key Accountabilities:


  • Deep understanding of the specific dynamics and requirements of the Wealth segment and extensive connectivity with private banks;
  • A role model who is able to build long term partnerships that shape customer expectations, inspires others and exceeds customer expectations and provide value added services;
  • Anticipates and identifies when a strategic shift in direction is critical to be competitive and is able to identify innovative solutions or refines solutions to recommend optimum course of action that adds most value;
  • Takes a lead financial role in appraising and deciding upon large scale financial and commercial propositions that will impact the allocation of capital, resources and risk management;
  • Seeks to promote the bank’s strategic global brand v/s a network of influential contacts in many different spheres of the bank’s activities;
  • Creates positive culture in line with company values, display the strength of character and charisma to inspire confidence, trust and loyalty in others;
  • Takes personal responsibility for driving the bank’s success demonstrating a high level or ownership and always places business interest/agenda foremost;
  • Anticipates changes to sales and marketing strategies and approaches based upon a wide understanding of market place trends and competition;

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, Banking or Financial Management or equivalent.

Minimum Experience


  • 5 years of relevant experience driving E-FX/Platforms/Automation;
  • Highly entrepreneurial, organized and able to cope with multiple responsibilities;
  • Previous experience in a well-known International Bank;
  • In-depth knowledge of markets and proven track record with clients;
  • Capable of improving our Pricing capability and streamline processes. Must possess the right measure of critical thinking to work on improving work/trade flow and build a robust platform
  • Capable of understanding risk valuation and management control tools and performance measurements as well as the ability to engage commercially and proactively
  • Able to drive productive conversations with Risk/Legal/Compliance stakeholders to introduce and develop new businesses into the Global Markets universe.
  • Energetic and engaging demeanour to build on the existing book of senior and discerning relationships and attract others to engage commercially with FAB.
