Job Description
  • Supervise installation of fire fighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, foam systems, and related piping.


  • Read and interpret approved drawings, layouts, and specifications.


  • Coordinate daily site activities and assign work to technicians and helpers.


  • Ensure work is carried out in compliance with NFPA standards, project requirements, and HSE regulations.


  • Conduct inspections, pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning support.


  • Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, engineers, and client representatives.


  • Maintain daily work reports, material usage, and manpower records.


  • Identify site issues and report to the Fire Fighting Engineer / Site Engineer.



Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Fire Fighting  Mechanical, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in various HVAC ducting systems, including sheet metal, insulated, and flexible ducts.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in HVAC installation and safety are an advantage.
  • HSE Knowledge: Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC ducting systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines for HVAC ductwork (e.g., SMACNA).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong focus on safety and quality.
