The mason Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating casting and finishing of precast elements , ensuring that work is completed on time and to the highest standards. This will involve managing teams of workers, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to. The mason Foreman will also be responsible for training and mentoring staff, managing budgets, and sourcing materials and equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
• Overseeing all aspects of masonry construction projects • Managing masonry crews • Ensuring safety regulations are followed • Ensuring the quality of workmanship • Training and mentoring junior masons • Maintaining a clean and organized worksite • Planning and budgeting for projects • Ordering materials and equipment • Resolving any issues or delays that arise during construction • Manage project budgets and resources • Schedule and Supervise the workers in the concerned area of the workplace. • Make sure all personnel are following the schedule and following the quality system, Occupational health and safety, and procedures for industrial safety standards. • Coordinate daily attendance and request overtime for his concerned area of operation. • Maintain the drawings and production plan and follow the work schedule as instructed by General Forman. • Inform the general foreman and coordinate with the maintenance department to conduct periodic maintenance. • Maintain equipment and machinery under his supervision • Supervise the cleanness of the concerned section of the operation • All other jobs as assigned by the site supervisor • Ensure your competent and skill-based certificates are valid and communicate with a supervisor if getting expire. • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself/herself and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions. • Cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with OHS requirements. • Comply with HSE requirements communicated in HSE induction, Procedures, and policies. • Lead as an example in front of workers by not violating any rules and correcting unsafe actions and conditions. • Attend Group Safety Meetings, HSE Campaigns & committee meetings as and when required. • Report unsafe acts and conditions to the HSE dept. using Intelex or booklets provided to you and monitor your targets and KPIs. • Do not carry out any task if you are not trained or authorized to do so, and make sure the workers working under you are following the same. • Participate in weekly or monthly HSE walkthroughs with your area HSE staff as per the plans
• Diploma in Industrial Engineering or Equivalent Qualification or Experience • Higher School Certificate
