We are looking for a General Accountant for our client a multinational company in

Dubai.



Job Purpose:

•Overlook General Ledger accounting across the MEA region



Finance and Treasury:

•Funding Management and Working Capital Management under supervision

•Exposure on Guarantees (Tender, Advance, Performance and Retentions)

•Understand and follow Corporate Financial policies and procedure



Accounting:

•Implementation of Group Accounting Manual (GAM) policies and procedure, Authorization grids

•Compliance of Jsox, IFRS Guidelines

•Submission and adherence to corporate accounting and meeting corporate deadlines

•Data entry and Supervision and Review of Monthly accounts, Bank and Inter Company Reconciliations



Experience & Knowledge:

•Minimum 5 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting particularly in construction industry in UAE or the Middle East region

•3 years Industry experience

•Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information

•Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents

•Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

•Excellent commercial sense and interest in business

•Familiarity in IFRS and SOX is advantageous

•Exposure on Multi Currency handling

•Trading, Manufacturing and Service related accounting knowledge preferred
