Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Auditor to support the Procurement Department by reviewing technical compliance, cost efficiency, and vendor performance across procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit procurement processes for technical accuracy and compliance
• Review technical specifications, BOQs, drawings, and scope of work before procurement
• Verify material quality, technical approvals, and compliance with project requirements
• Evaluate vendor quotations, technical submissions, and comparison sheets
• Ensure procurement aligns with engineering standards and company policies
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and technical risks in procurement decisions
• Conduct post-procurement audits on materials, equipment, and services
• Coordinate with engineering, projects, QA/QC, and procurement teams
• Prepare technical audit reports with findings and recommendations
• Monitor corrective actions and follow up on audit observations
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related field)
• Proven experience as a Technical Auditor or similar role in procurement
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and technical standards
• Experience in reviewing BOQs, specifications, and vendor technical documents
• Familiarity with ERP / procurement systems
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
