• The E&I G/FM is responsible for supervising & controlling the construction crew(s) assigned to the project including Foremen, Charge hands, Technicians, etc for the timely completion of project and in accordance with the project Quality and HSE requirements.
• He reports to the E&I Construction Manager/ Site Engineer assigned to the Project. He uses his discretion in establishing short term priorities and objectives including allocation of workforce, tools and equipment.
• The E&I G/FM reviews project specifications, installation standards and construction drawings in relation to the E & I scope of work and brings to the attention of his Construction / Site Engineer areas that may need particular attention.
• He raises technical queries & seeks clarifications on any ambiguities in the construction drawings/documents through his Construction / Site Engineer.
• He liaises with Client's representatives through the Construction / Site Engineers to resolve any problem encountered while the work is in progress, viz., specification violations, nonconformance, interfaces, modifications, etc.
• He is also responsible for site liaison with other Section General F/M and coordination with other Departments, Sections & Subcontractors to ensure smooth performance of the E&I works.
• He keeps close contact with QC Inspectors and Client Representatives to ensure timely issuance of all Inspection/Releases Notes, Acceptance Certificates, etc.
• He assists in preparation of As-Built Drawings, Material reconciliation reports, etc.
• He is responsible for direct control of upto 80 Nos. Productive personnel & up to 8 Nos. Supervisory personnel like Foremen and Chargehands, etc.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications
• Diploma- Electrical, instrumentation or E&C from an accredited university (Full time).

• 8 years of experience in installation of Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom equipment in the Oil & Gas Industry.
