Overview of the role



We are looking for a Head of Customer and Marketing Data Science to join our team at Al Futtaim Automotive. This role is pivotal in implementing use cases defined within our Data and AI Strategy and delivering projects for various business stakeholders, including Marketing, Customer Engagement, Contact Centre, and Passenger Vehicles.

What you will do



Implement predictive models such as lead scoring, conversion analysis, precision marketing, and more Deliver at least two use cases each fiscal year that have a P&L impact through increased sales and cost savings Support the Marketing team on A/B testing and create standardized KPI metrics and reporting Identify customer data insights based on historical data and deliver monthly insights on marketing campaign performance or customer value management Create a data culture within the organization by running workshops, brainstorming sessions, and participating in data enablement initiatives Support marketing and customer engagement teams to increase lead generation, conversion and increase customer lifetime value through predictive modelling and customer analytics Regularly lease with business stakeholders, identify their pain-points, co-create use cases, and define business case for each use case Deliver projects within agreed timelines unless there is an agreement with the business stakeholders or Chief Data Officer for rescheduling due to business or technical reasons Regularly interact with team to ensure required project dependencies, such as data, computational resources, software licenses, access rights, etc., are provided within planned timeframes Achieve target business goals set together with Chief Data Officer and evaluated against them regularly Perform his/her work in accordance with policies defined within Data Office related to work ethics, data processing, people management and business project delivery

Required skills to be successful



10+ years of practical experience in predictive and prescriptive modeling within Marketing, Customer Analytics, or similar domains Background in Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or Machine Learning. An MSc degree is preferable Hands-on experience with CRM, advanced statistics, mathematical modeling, machine learning, and various AI techniques Experience delivering predictive modeling projects through their entire lifecycle

About the team



You will be leading a team of Senior Data Science Managers and Data Science Managers, working closely with various departments such as Marketing, IT, and Customer Service to deliver high-quality and high-accuracy models.
