Key Responsibilities:



• Advise on Bilateral Investment Treaties (BITs), treaty protections, and related disputes.



• Manage and support international arbitration cases, including strategy development, drafting, and coordination with external counsel.



• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents with cross-border implications.



• Conduct legal research on international investment law, treaty interpretation, and arbitration frameworks.



• Advise senior management on dispute avoidance, compliance, and investment structuring strategies.



• Monitor and assess developments in international arbitration rules and global investment law.







Qualifications & Requirements:



• UK or other Western legal qualification (solicitor, barrister, or equivalent).



• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, with a focus on BITs and international arbitration.



• Strong knowledge of international investment law, arbitration institutions, and treaty disputes.



• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.



• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external counsel.



• Commercial awareness and ability to align legal advice with business objectives.
